Feline Kennel

Our feline patients are hospitalized in a cat only kennel area.  This allows them to feel at home while away from home.  The noise from other patients and day to day tasks are minimized allowing them to feel more relaxed.  Each kennel is large enough to allow them an adequate area to rest away from their litter box.  If they prefer, we supply them with a box or hiding spot to feel more secure.  Cats who prefer warmer places can have a warming disc to enjoy.  The room is supplied with Feliway, a synthetic feline pheromone that mimics the hormones released by mom.  This creates a calm, relaxing environment for each cat.  None of the cat kennels face each other so that each cat is provided with their own privacy.
